Replica DD MK18 RIS II

The MK18 RIS II is the replacement rail handguard for the CQBr upper receiver and full MK18 weapon system. The replacement was for a rail that "free flouts" (dose not come in contact with the barrel) and still be able to facilitate the attachment of an M203 Grenade Launcher.

The Mk18 RIS II has a "continues top rail" unlike the the offering from KAC there is no space between the receiver top rail and the start of the 12 o'clock rail position so on some receivers there may be a height issue when mounting optics that bridge this gap. We tested the rail with receivers from G&G, G&P, King Arms and CA without issues.

The MK18 RIS II is 9" long and requires the removal of the standard triangle front sight post on 10" to 14.5" profile barrels. You can replace the FSP with one of our low profile options such as the LT Style Low-Pro Gas Block or the Vltor Style Low-Profile Gas Block. Although a gas block is not needed for the fit or function of the MK 18 RIS II it helps with centring the rail along with a fake gas tube.

All in all a very high quality rail system that offers up extra rail space with out the need of extending your outer barrel while still retain the ability to mount an M203.
